By accessing or using Clipwave ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Clipwave is an AI-powered video creation platform that enables users to generate marketing videos, edit video clips, and produce content using artificial intelligence. The Service includes video generation, script writing, text-to-speech, and video editing tools.
You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials. Subscriptions are billed through Stripe on a monthly or annual basis. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period.
Trial Period: Certain plans offer a 7-day trial period at a reduced introductory rate. At the end of the trial period, your subscription automatically converts to the full monthly rate unless cancelled before the trial ends. By starting a trial, you authorize us to charge the full subscription fee upon trial expiration.
The Service operates on a credit system. Credits are consumed when using AI features (video generation, transcription, etc.). Credits do not roll over between billing periods. Refunds for unused credits are not provided.
Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU), you have a 14-day right of withdrawal for digital services purchased online. However, by starting your trial or subscription and accessing the Service — including generating videos, using credits, or accessing AI features — you expressly consent to the immediate performance of the Service and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once the digital content has been accessed or credits have been consumed.
If you cancel within 7 days of your trial start date and have not used any credits or generated any content, you may request a full refund of the trial fee by contacting info@clipwave.io.
For monthly or annual subscriptions beyond the trial period, refunds are not provided for partial billing periods. You may cancel at any time to prevent future charges.
Your Content: You retain ownership of content you upload. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to process it for providing the Service.
Generated Content: Content generated through the Service is owned by you, subject to any applicable third-party AI model terms. You are responsible for ensuring your use of generated content complies with applicable laws.
Our Service: The Clipwave platform, including its software, design, and branding, remains our intellectual property.

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your access to the Service and generated content may be revoked.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. For EU consumers, mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence apply to the extent they provide greater protection.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification.
